Barrel-Fermented Biere de Garde

A really big Biere de Garde brewed in celebration of Black Acre’s and Central State’s partnership at The Coal Factory. Barrel Fermented in red wine barrels with CSB house brett, wine, and farmhouse strains. Then we refermented with a little Brett Claussenii.

  • Malt Bill: Pale Malt, Crystal Malt, Munich Malt, Chocolate Malt, Black Patent Malt
  • Hops: Saaz
  • Yeast: CSB House Yeast Blend, Brett Clausenii, East Coast Yeast Farmhouse Brett, and Brett Anomalous 
  • ABV: 12.5%
  • Serving Temperature: 45-50
  • Glassware: Snifter or Tulip
