Leipziger-Style Gose

A tart and refreshing style of beer native to Leipzig, Germany. The lactic acid tartness is rounded out with the addition of a touch of salt. Watermelon adds hints of fresh fruit and rind to the aroma. Twenty-two seedless watermelons selflessly gave their lives (with the help of a paint bucket and paint stirrer) to add hints of fresh fruit and rind to the aroma.


Artisan Tears
  • Malt Bill: Pilsner, Acidulated Malt, Wheat
  • Hops: Galaxy (but not a lot)
  • Yeast: CSB House Wild Yeast, Lactobacillus
  • ABV: 3.3%
  • IBU: 10 IBUs
  • Serving Temperature(F): 40-45
